HM Consulting Services was founded in 2007 when Joshua Monge had a vision to connect clients in need of creative services with creative professionals, providing for the business processes that sometimes get in the way of an organic relationship. The business started up as a grassroots effort. As Joshua developed his own skills in website coding, social media planning and strategic marketing, HM Consulting Services expanded to provide a variety of marketing services to clients in diverse industries. HM Consulting Services continues to provide for clients in a way that emphasizes achieving attainable, accountable goals with a strong priority on establishing a quantitative approach so that efforts can be measured and modified as needed.
We speak Geek, Design, and the Language of Business. Our solutions follow the guidelines of the business and services we utilize. We follow the blogs of Google, Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn, and many more. In addition we source information from the industries top professionals and track developing trends. Our goal is to incorporate the latest and greatest into the tried and true business practices. Joshua "JD" Monge
Digital Marketing Consultant
Joshua founded HM Consulting Services in 2007. His vision for connecting businesses with effective marketing solutions was fueled by the observation of inefficient marketing efforts and unmeasurable goals in the development of Online marketing. Joshua is a natural strategist with a gift for streamlining processes in strategic, effective ways in order to solve problems and remain accountable to solutions. Joshua consults clients from a variety of industries, advising on procedures in digital marketing efforts, including social media reputation, digital footprint and search engine optimization. Joshua is a front-end web developer with specialization in clean, SEO friendly website coding. His organizational skills and emphasis in strategic construction have awarded him with the title for “cleanest code” in several web development circles.
Joshua has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, coupled with a passion for building and improving business at every level. His business, HM Consulting Services, demands a strong emphasis on establishing a quantitative approach, resulting in creative solutions that are accountable and attainable.
Erica is co-founder of HM Consulting Services. She is a strategic professional who deploys participative management style in a diverse workforce. Her skills as a writer and editor add to the development of copy services. Erica contributes as a consultant on personnel issues and organizational development, drawing on previous experience in diverse cultural settings. She excels as an effective mentor who reduces employer costs by teaching and implementing time management. She offers a strong emphasis on optimism, excelling under pressure and meeting deadlines effectively. Her low context perception and values based leadership style serves HM Consulting Services in contextual business relationships. She holds two Master’s Degrees in comparative literature and is currently in pursuit of a PhD.
Fill a need
We believe that a business should fill a need on the community, broadly defined. The exchange of specialized goods and services is what helps our society grow and prosper. It allows people to focus on various tasks without having to worry about having skills in every area of life needed to survive. Through specialization we ideally produce more efficient products and services, and exchange as we have need. But filling a need is not sufficient for running a healthy business. Yes, you need need the skills to produce a product or service, but you also need clients/customers to purchase those goods. In the digital age, this becomes a challenge.
Authenticity and Marketing Knowledge
So how does our philosophy fit into current marketing trends? Simple, it's about authenticity, and knowing how to market your product or service with the tools of today. The tools for marketing are more sophisticated, requiring skilled labor, but still work from the core principles of marketing. Knowing how your product/service is placed in the market and your target audience is essential. This becomes more essential as consumers are more responsive and active then in previous times. This leads us to identify how we are going to fill our role in the market place. We will provide the knowledge, skills, and insight to our clients to achieve their marketing goals.
